Comparison

Upbridge, Excel and WhatsApp.

That is how most operations in Mexico run, with the photos in the group and the stock in a spreadsheet. Upbridge keeps those same photos and that stock, sorted by house.

Should I use Upbridge or stay with Excel and WhatsApp?

With one or two houses, and if nobody asks you for a cleaning report, the sheet and the group are enough. Things change around five houses, when you can no longer find a cleaning photo in the group, or when you buy towels twice because nobody knows how many each house has. That's when Upbridge helps. Cleo, our AI operations assistant, lives in those same WhatsApp chats, hands out the work and keeps the photos and the count for each house.

What each one does, today.

What we compare here is the WhatsApp group you already have with a report that arrives with a time on it.

Topic Excel + WhatsApp Upbridge
Proof the house was cleaned Loose photos in the group. A week later nobody knows which house or what time. Room-by-room list. Required photos. One timestamped report when they finish.
Inventory A sheet, if there is one. Or in the buyer’s head. Per house, with minimums. Configured products deduct automatically by task or by reservation. Alerts in the app, email and WhatsApp.
Guest A PDF, a printout, or “I’ll WhatsApp you the WiFi”. A guide on a link, which we build, with check-in and ID verification. The guest asks for an extra service in the guide and pays right there. The moment the payment lands, the task is created and assigned to whoever it belongs to, without you moving anything.
Who hands out the work You do, by hand, message by message, and you remember what you remember. Cleo, our AI operations assistant, works inside WhatsApp. She reads your team’s WhatsApp chats, builds the tasks and assigns them. You write to her and ask for things the way you would ask anyone on your team, without opening the app. She only sees the chats you add her to, the same as anyone new on your team; she does not touch the rest of your WhatsApp.
What does not change Your team. WhatsApp to talk. Your team. WhatsApp to talk. The evidence no longer lives in the group.

When to stay on the sheet.

  • One or two houses and you remember everything.
  • Nobody asks you for the clean report.

When not to.

  • Five houses and the group is the archive.
  • You buy towels twice because nobody knows how many sit in each house.
  • The owner asks if it was cleaned and you scroll the chat.
Do I have to leave WhatsApp?

No, the opposite. WhatsApp stays for talking, and Cleo, our AI operations assistant, lives right there. You write to her, and she reads your team’s WhatsApp chats, builds the tasks and assigns them. What leaves the group are the clean photos and the count, which live in a report and in inventory, per house.

Does it connect to my PMS?

Yes. If you use Guesty, Hostaway, Lodgify or Uplisting, you connect it directly. If you only have Airbnb or Booking.com, you send us your listing’s iCal link, and your calendar in Upbridge updates automatically. Upbridge isn’t a PMS, so you keep using the one you have.

Does inventory deduct when a clean is completed?

Yes. Automatically by task or by reservation, depending on how you set it up. Below minimum: app, email and WhatsApp.
